In fluidity, I let go.

Painting makes me see things in a different light. Streets, churches, window panes turn into gradient washes and dry brush texture in my head. I have lived a life of fast-paced yet controlled decision-making to walk the path to a decent life. It is with painting that I managed to slow down, breathe, and take in the beauty of my surroundings. It is with painting that I learn to let go and let the uncertain flow of water take control.
