About the Artist
Ana Victoria Margallo is a visual artist based in Metro Manila, Philippines. Her passion for visual arts began from her childhood in Biñan, Laguna. With over a decade of experience in national and international multimedia design and illustration, she now has reestablished her practice in traditional arts.
She takes inspiration from her travels that made her reflect on the cultural artistry of heritage sites – capturing community history and bridging the past to the present in her art.
Her paintings have been featured in different exhibitions in the Philippines, France, Italy, Japan, and the USA. Her works are an invitation to see places not only as a destination, but a feeling that celebrates identity, spirit, and pride.
