Painting makes me see things in a different light. Streets, churches, window panes turn into gradient washes and dry brush texture in my head. It is with painting that I managed to slow down, breathe, and take in the beauty of my surroundings. It is with painting that I learn to let go and let the uncertain flow of water take control.
